Helpful Tips from Other's Experience
Clothing
My husband was a big fan of jeans and always wore them. However, the crotch
seam is very stiff and when sitting for extended periods and even laying down
for radiation treatments, the seam can cause sores in the buttocks area.
Highly recommend wearing pants that are soft, such as fleece, and that have
very small seams to avoid this potential discomfort.

Food
During radiation treatments my husband did not have a good appetite.
The doctor's suggested drinking Boost to increase his protein intake.
These drinks are not the best tasting and the novelty soon wears off.
One nurse suggested buying the vanilla flavored drink and adding your
favorite chocolate syrup to it rather than buying the chocolate flavor.
The taste was much better. You can adjust the amount based on your
personal preference. You can also buy strawberry syrup as well.
